Employee Advocate Program

Sustaining a work injury is a challenging time for your employee. Concerns arise with treatment, time loss from work, the impact of their injury on their employment and home environment. Our employee advocate access program provides the employee with a neutral resource, on an as needed basis, to assist your employee navigate the complexities of workers’ compensation. The Encompass advocate team will ensure the employee receives timely resolution to their concerns. The advocate program enhances your employees’ experience with the workers’ compensation process and reduces the level of frustration that can lead to litigation.

Nurse Case Management

Encompass Health Solutions (EHS) supports our clients’ workers’ compensation initiatives through the provision of case management services focused on obtaining excellent medical treatment, decreasing fragmented treatment, maintaining communications with all parties and coordinating a safe return to work for the injured employee. Our program promotes the efficient use of case management services to maintain cost effectiveness while obtaining the assignment objective. EHS offers both telephonic case management throughout the State of California and field case management specifically in Southern California.

Customized Injury Management Programs

During the life cycle of a workers’ compensation claim, the need may arise to have the case manager provide the in-person touch of interacting face to face with the medical community responsible for treatment and the injured employee.  Our field case management team is well-versed in obtaining causation statements, medication clarification/negotiation for Medicare Set-Asides as well as functioning as the clinical gatekeeper coordinating medical treatment, return to work, ancillary services, and ensuring treatment requests are provided to the claims team to decrease fragmented treatment and avoid delays in care. EHS promotes the efficient use of field case management services to maintain cost effectiveness while obtaining the assignment objective.
